fishinmymind replied to your post: Send me a stereotype about my country and I will...
you like fish?
I personally hate it (which I am sure has shortened my lifespan with at least 7 years) but I think Swedes in general like it well enough? We have a few absurd traditional fish dishes that only exist because preserving food by any means necessary was vital to surviving in this climate in the olden days before fridges and preservatives. Also - Sweden has traditionally been a fairly poor country, only truly “leveling up” post WW2, which is why a lot of them are still around.

I know the feeling :-(
Thanks. It’s strange not going back there tomorrow. It’s going to take some readjusting.
fishinmymind answered your question “What comedy show should I watch? ”
Hunderby, QI or anything with Rich Fulcher in it :-)
Rich Fulcher is always good.
"Everybody could relate to the fact that Julian and I were both very different but that we needed and loved each other." Sorry to ask but did noel ever really say this??:-O
Darling, he said a lot more than that - go read for yourself, the whole article is a gem x
I'm not even sure it's the most loving quote about Julian from it to be honest, but it's so... pure and undiluted. Ugh, my heart.
