I don't have a reference for Fishmon yet but I do have a few style notes so here I guess.

Always has one eye covered by his hair depending on circumstances. Right eye still looks normal (if a bit bloodshot) and is (usually) visible when he's lucid, left eye is white/luminous and is (usually) visible when he's being a little bit of an eldritch horror.
Based on a dragonfish—very long body, transparent teeth, has some bioluminescent strands in his hair
Spines taper out about halfway down his tail. They usually have stuff caught on them—ripped fabric, muscle strands, and clots of blood. He also has two smaller spikes just below the elbow on his right arm.
Has dark red markings resembling parts of his outfit/injuries—stripes on his forearm for the bandages, 'harness' around his shoulders and upper back, and an asymmetrical mask on his face (from the blood splatter), as well as a gradient to the end of his tail
Hand is somewhere between a hand and a seal flipper. Has claws. Lost a lot of dexterity.
HIS LEFT ARM NEVER HEALS. It's severed just below the elbow and stays looking freshly removed.
No gills, he just breathes the blood. This does mean if/when he surfaces he ends up hacking up lungfuls of blood in a very gross manner to be able to breathe
Cannot talk verbally, he's restricted to just noises. Growls/snarls/hums/etc
Hair is very tangled and matted with coagulated blood.
Tail fin is vertical like a fish instead of horizontal like a mammal. The bottom fin starts a little after the end of his back spikes, and the top fin doesn't start until around half the length of the bottom. The webbing is tattered and has rips and holes in it.
Ignore the tentacle lures I ended up getting rid of those.
