My fish tank lighting went out months ago. Since then I'd been using a couple lights that go under cabinets. So not meant to be the brightest things in the world. But finally after researching fish tank lighting and not being happy with the prices, I decided to make my own. Its a very simple container (doesn't have to be clear, that's the only thing they had) with some reflective duct tape lining the inside. Two ceramic sockets wired with a simple lamp cord and, voila, a fish tank light.
