me and my bff had the most wonderful new years eve that i could have ever possibly imagined. we went to see japanese breakfast at johnny brenda’s in philly and it was transcendental. after jbrekkie finished their set, most of the crowd peaced out. i was disappointed but teddi and i were committed to dancing the night away. it was totally unexpected that michelle (and her whole crew) would come out onto the dance floor and dance with all of us. all. night. long. it was pure magic.
Yah is so so good. i felt Yah when michelle and i held hands on the dance floor and screamed the lyrics to life is a highway. Yah gifted me with such a wholesome ending to such a stretching year. michelle's music is so holy to me, it has helped me process some hard moments over the past 3 years and has been a channel for me to access the Spirit. i am so grateful for such an oceanic night.
