Oooh it would appear to be that one yes. Not bad for a freebie given away at the ELMS pitwalk. Haha yes, but if the flag is biggerv than Dani it'll be pretty much bigger than me.

Got to love a freebie! That gives you quite a bit of space to Rufea it up, as there (thankfully) aren’t any sponsor logos on it. :D Perfect length for if you want to wear it as a cape then. You two can hold it up together.

I think it’s going to require designing on the computer and printing to make a template. Because I cannot draw for shit! Hoping to do something Dani related too.

Templates and projections to trace from are a good idea, this tutorial is what I’ll be referring to. Which flag do you have? Is it the one from the MarcVDS store? Dani-related flag would be awesome, even though it would probably be bigger than him, jajaja.

I must remember to sufficiently Tito and Alex-ify my MarcVDS flag WAY before the actual event. Attempting to plan ahead to avoid messily scrawled sharpie on flag incidents.

Planning is key. You have to make sure you get the right paint, the right AMOUNT of paint, etc. It’s got to look good! :D Got the design sorted, but due to my lack of art skills it’s going to take a long time to make. So the actual ‘painting’ part starts in July when the summer holidays start, haha.

Oh we have. To the point her husband brought in a picture for me because we were RIGHT NEXT TO THEM when they stopped to have their photo taken coming out the pit lane. It started with a “look, these are Eddie Jordan glasses” comment!

Ahhh Eddie, always a good conversation starter. That’s so cool, you unintentionally photobombed them. Imagine their faces when they looked back at the photos and were like ‘Isn’t that the girl from the shop?’ :D

I love days like that. One of the things that (sometimes) makes customer service jobs a great feeling - just for that moment finding a link with that person and sharing it (I have a customer who comes back and we compare "what races are we going to")

Agreed. Finding someone who shares an equal passion about something you love is an indescribable feeling. Whenever people buy Rossi Monster or Guy Martin’s book I’m like ‘Ayyy’ and the conversations which stem from that are often the best of the day’s shift. Aww, that’s lovely! Imagine if one day you ended up going to/having been to the same race, haha.

VERY jealous, I can’t wait to get there and see the Hogwarts Express! Been twice already mind you… Is that a Hufflepuff tee shirt I spy???

The Hogwarts Express was beautiful. They’ve set the carriages up to represent scenes from each film and it looked amazing! Twice?! Now I’m jealous.... :P

The one they used is probably the only one where he didn’t excessively look like he wanted to kill the photographer.
