“Fashion is Art”

For this year’s Met Gala, I wanted to draw one of my characters on theme, what they would wear as if they were attending. I ended up choosing my boy Evangeline, and for the art that his outfit represents to be cave paintings. Specifically, this is meant to evoke the paintings of Cueva de las Manos in Argentina.

The Druomish princess, Elisabet Eveliina da Silva, is the daughter of King Gabriel I da Silva and his consort Prince Matthias Anaxopoulos of Perikleia. Born following her elder twin—Princess Roosa—in the year 874, Princess Elisabeth is the fourth of the king and the prince’s seven children. At age 13 she claimed her dragon, Sammalkyy, a slender green and blue dragon with a temperament befitting the kindly nature of its rider. The princess is known for being a true lady of the court, with a love of playing the harp and flute, as well as painting.
