5 Ways to Get Ready for a Fit Fall
1. Make a List: Get organized by making a to-do list for fall. Prioritize your shopping, phone calls, errands, and everything else that needs to get done. Post list on your fridge and update on your phone as each item is complete. Having your to do’s written down will help keep you organized and less stressed.
2. Plan a routine: Kids go back to school and summer work hours change so plan a workout routine that is before work or right after work so you are less likely to skip. Hire a personal trainer or join small group class to get your motivated and committed.
3. Plan healthy meals: No more take out or cereal for dinner. Plan quick and healthy meals and shop accordingly. Be smart my cooking dinner and using leftovers for lunches the next day.
4. Fall Cleaning: Get organized both in the house and outside so you are not feeling overwhelmed with summer clothes still out and pool toys in the yard. Housework can burn calories and is also a good way to get the whole family involved in cleaning. Donate old clothes and toys and you will feel happy for your good deed!
5. Stock Up on Healthy Snacks & Fruits: With summer ending and schedules getting full again, be sure to keep healthy snacks in the house to boost energy and keep the family from grabbing high fat foods. Keep fruits in clear site on top of counter tops for quick and easy access.
