"Why are there so many songs about rainbows, and what's on the other side?" ••• Chasing a beautiful #rainbow this evening on a #pacetime #run through #verdun with my husband, who slowed down bit to take a shot of the rainbow -- and apparently a shot of me running :) I really didn't want to go, especially since it was pouring when we started, but one of the reasons I married my man is because he always helps me stick to my goals by keeping me accountable and encouraging me every step of the way. He never lets me let myself down, and reminds me daily that I need to keep promises I've made to myself, too, and not just the ones I've made to others. He's a #truepartner and the greatest guy ever. I'm slowly getting my groove back, and working towards new #goals every day, and knowing he's got my back helps me keep #pushingthrough. ••• #sundayrunday #running #fitchickinthemaking #fitcouplegoals (at Arrondissement de Verdun)

#workoutwednesday for me falls nicely into a #routine... #grouptraining every Wednesday at 5pm at @nautilus_plus #placevillemarie with my trainer and our N+ #fitfam! Now that #spring has arrived in #montreal our sessions are heading #outdoors where we're working on our #running :) Last summer was great and I've sorely missed being #outside and getting #stronger and #faster when I #run! Here's what today's 6k looked like when broken down by #nikeplus and #Fitbit. FYI on kilometres 4 and 5 we did #sprint exercises, 45s walk/15s sprint. The rest was all about #hittingyourstride and getting into a #goodrhythm so our trainer could see where we needed to #focus our efforts this season. Not quite ready yet for a competition 🤣😜 but my basic #swimming skills are coming along well enough thanks to @meabhj 's deep well of patience and even deeper knowledge of the sport :) Today was a great day for #cardio since it started off with running at the gym and ended with 45min doing laps and working on my #swim techniques.
