The suit upgrades in Metroid always feel so good when they enhance your movement abilities. The gravity suit with its purple color theme felt like a great fit for a MtG proxy of Commander's Plate, which grants protection from colors.

I apologize for this being so late, life and also my new obsession (Darkest Dungeon) made me too busy to think about or make anything for Metroids 40th birthday.
To be honest though; I am a very new fan, hasn't even been a full year since my introduction into this series and the fandom, that being Metroid Prime 4.
And I owe so much to that game, and to this series. In such a short amount of time, this series has caused me to rekindle my love for OC making and also helped me meet so many incredible people; really, I'm so thankful for this game specifically. Plus, I only started being a huge Sylux selfshipper because of this game, so that's wonderful.
I wish I had something prepared for this moment, but I do not. However, I can share that I've been working on a massive document about the Lamorn and their lore, world building, species, basically everything. I plan to use every canon source (including the Japan exclusive guide book for Prime 4, which has a ton of lore!) and I even plan to work with artists and the official game models to make the Lamorn Document as perfect as it can be. I do hope to have it mostly done by the end of the year, or maybe not; life has been doing a number on me but I promise you all, the Lamorn are everything to me and I promise to share my passion with you all.
