Big Willy obsession. (R.I.P. Willy Morris). As a lot of you know, I don’t conform to the litres against weight on the scales theory. I ride around 46-47ltrs. So, the @cisurfboards_oz Big Willy seems to give that little bit more under the chest for paddling and older guy ‘flow’ type of surfing. So now a 7’2” added to the quiver, alongside the 7’4” I was surfing at Winki, when attending the Bells Contest. I’ve also ordered a ‘tug boat version’ as a small wave ‘anti Mal’. 7’ x 3.1/8 x 21.3/4 coming in around 50-51ltrs. I’ve tried the wider nose thing, but it doesn’t seem to suit my (sometimes 😂) rail surfing. So my theory is put more down the middle, but keep the same rail curve. I’ll keep you posted, when I take delivery. At 62, obviously I’m slowing down, but a ‘longer’ short board is still where I want to be! @micksowry @nealpurchasesnr @brent__power @nathaniel_curran @scott_aka_ando @flinno @bradgerlach @connercoffin @robertcmack @djbsurfboards @ianfreestone @stevedsurf @jc_surf1 @hideawaycafes @pottypen @museumofbritishsurfing @carvemag @steve_england1 @cisurfboards @twomill @strappersurf #cliverodell #clivesqualitytraining #askcliveapp @baliwaves #surfstrengthcoach #highperformancesurfcoaching #bigwilly #channelislandssurfboards #oldguysurfers #surfboards #fitnessquestionaskcliveapp (at Freshwater Beach)
