Fun times. I always love doing team WODs bcoz not only is it testing your strength as an individual but also testing your ability to adapt to situation involving not only yourself but with people you ought to trust. After that, you feel a special bond with those people. Since team competition qualifiers are ongoing this year, I can't help but reminisce my experience with it last year. 15 Days Left. Our team, The 3-Fic BenTianIca, will be competing at @affiliatealliance's The Fittest Teams 2018 two weeks from now. There's a lot of preparation for the said event. Die a little and come back stronger. I won't lie, not being able to qualifiy last year for the Fittest Teams was upsetting. I thought I was ready to join my first ever competition. That experience made me work harder to be a better athlete in this sport. I tried attending WOD classes 4-6 times a week (sometimes doing 2 WODs a day if capable). I did the Hatch Squat Cycle. Attend specialty classes like Barbell Bullies and Gymnastics. Did the training program for competing athletes, Bushido Creed. All of these made me aware of my weaknesses that I need to work on and strengths that I can develop further. Also, I was able qualify for this year's Fittest Teams Competition. In hindsight, I can say I was not really ready to join last year.
