This happens most times I try and ship my own characters, really, they go off the rails and don’t do what I intended. Or they have messy breakups like Matari and Cennef did.

Scribblenauts is an exception, possibly because I originally did not intend for them to get together and that was more of a byproduct of Jikiro’s arc with Viltau that also influenced his relationship with Jamie in turn.
