StrongVeganAthlete Chronicles The end of the 2018/2019 ski season. Thinking, observation, empirical logic, statistical probabilities, statistical possibilities, causation and how to make YOU better at generating positive exercise and health results (and most other activities). These videos show how there are different grades of technical competence and skills, within a sport, skiing. The photo shows the four pairs of skis used, including cross country track skis, a totally different sport. All are now in storage. Spring and summer outdoor sports equipment, were already out, during the transition period. Are you getting the data you want, or including data that runs counter to what you expect? For example; if you start a strength training program and finish, you should EXPERIENCE an increase in strength. Suppose you now decide to include such a program, within a sports development or athletic program; 1. how does that interact with the rest of the program? 2. Is any increase in strength useful for your sport? I use strength here, as an example of one of the possible contributors to fitness. I could just as well used running, swimming, jumping jacks or my adherence to being vegan. How do people in fitness, health and wellness offer data AND a logical conclusion, without observational bias? How do we offer data, without anecdotal corruption, that can lead to a utilitarian program that includes several modalities? These are the toughest questions for a this trainer to consider — no one lives within an exclusive strength, running, swimming, jumping jacks or vegan existence. You move, eat, walk to and from your car, pick up random objects (when they are compared to each other, yet are specific to YOU, and how you live), sleep, are exposed to various pathogens, and more, that influence what those in the fitness, health and wellness optimization world call “results.” The larger point here; is what you expect, undermining to some degree, the utility of what you are doing and why you are doing it? Are your chosen modalities compatible, or preferably enhancing (synergistic) your abilities, within your sport or athletic ability/competence #StrongVeganAthlete #FitVeg https://www.instagram.com/strongveganathlete/p/Bw0rtqZgErX/?igshid=1pmw55pkfnag6
