these transandrophobia truthers r so frustrating 2 me as a group of ppl cuz they often have good resources 4 trans men or occasionally bring up a good point worth looking into like trans male reproductive health but they dont actually Care about that. they care about punching down at trans women and for every good take there's like ten other takes that i can immediately refute with my own transmasc experience growing up in a rural christian town where i actually started getting treated better by people after i transitioned and no! im not stealth! my position in masculinity literally makes my life easier than it was prior even though im openly gay and trans. yall jus so caught up in ur own negativity and wanna be the victims so bad that you make shit up and look down ur nose at transmisoginistic hatred as if its not worth your time rather than stand with our trans sisters that suffer infinitely more than us and fought 4 the gay and trans communities for decades. makes me sick!

I want to thank everyone who has reached out to me tonight and honestly other nights before now. Anyone who has seen any of my posts about “Mister” know that it wasn’t the healthiest relationship if you can even call it that. So this should have been something I saw coming from a mile away. But it was almost like the brakes were out and I had just accepted the fact that I was going to careen into a mountainside. 

It’s so weird I can’t even say he broke up with me. We were never dating. I just keep playing things over and over in my head, thinking of how stupid I was. How optimistic and naive. How much time and energy I invested into it. Like I was watering a garden and just found out it was choked with nothing but weeds and parasites. The only harvest I’m reaping from this are more lessons learned, a more bitter heart, more caution and unease anytime a guy shows me a sliver of affection.

I can talk the talk and tell other littles all day long. Be careful who you entrust with your heart. But when it comes to using my own advice and treading lightly I fall flat on my face. Every damn time. I shouldn’t settle for less. I shouldn’t accept anything short of what I deserve. I deserve love and adoration and happiness. I deserve getting back more than an ounce of what I put into those I care for. 

I know the New Year was a month ago but I’m shooting for that New Me thing now at the end of January and onward. I’m going to be happy. I’m going to be loved. I’m going to be taken care of. I’m going to be adored. Even if I have to do it all myself.

I have lost more since on larger ships, and still each death is painful, although I am comforted that all were killed in performance of their duty for their country, for Avalon. Death is unavoidable in war, but one endeavours to make it a worthwhile sacrifice.” With a short bark of a laugh she continues, “As for me personally, I cannot say precisely how many I have cut down in boarding engagements. When one is slashing one’s way through a ship’s complement one never knows who is dead and who is merely almost dead until the engagement is over. All one can reliably say is that they are not.”

“Now, I have yet to kill anyone in the service of Arendelle. I do think I scared a bit of the life out of the officers and crew of a few ships from Weselton. Weselton thinks it can harass our ships and then duck back into its waters for protection as we are forbidden to pursue.” Fitz gives you a look that suggests exactly what she thinks of that state of affairs. “Unfortunately as I am still unfamiliar with these waters ... being foreign and all ... I may have run a ship or two almost into their home port with a few nicely placed holes in their hull for good measure. But as loudly as they complained of the damage to both ships and sovereignty ... to the Queen no less ... I am fairly certain there were no casualties.”

“On the field of honor, I have left 3 men dead. The first in what was a tragic youthful burst of enthusiasm. It was in fact that deed that tempered my desire for anything more than first blood. The other two were unfortunate conclusions forced upon me by men too stubborn or vain to concede. To that other more civilized end, I have lamed seven and left four with dashing facial scars that they might show off if they have the temerity to admit they were beaten by ...” Fitz smiles, “a woman.”

in a similar vein 2 my last reblog ive been rethinking my stance on asexuality a lot after seeing some more compelling posts on it as of late. especially with regards to seeing actual terfs spouting some of the same stuff i used to say and stating that being their "gateway drug" to terfism. that said, i do still have a complicated relationship with asexuality.

i used to be ace myself once, when i was a kid that was terrified of and repulsed by sex. i think seeing and adopting that label at that age honestly set me back in my development, let me live in my fear longer than i had to because it was my Identity, and as a result made me develop a deep sense of almost puritanical shame over my sexuality when it did finally begin to surface that has taken years to even begin to undo.

of course there are other factors tht contributed to this as well but it certainly didnt help and actively delayed the discovery of my sexuality. so right off the bat i have really negative connotations associated with asexuality.

i also get hung up on the fact that if im to accept them as inherently lgbt, or queer, there isnt really a barrier between the asexuals that would harrass and threaten gay people, and show active disgust towards them on the basis of being "allosexual" and the gay people they target.

but with all that said i think ive come to accept that letting the bad apples represent the entire group is at best just kinda silly, and at worst, opening the doors to even more ridiculous microlabels and twitter level discourse and even further segregation of a community that really, ultimately, i think, should be able to unite themselves under the rainbow flag.

i will probably always have my feelings and my critiques of asexuality based on how i experienced it but. community and unification, to me, will always be more important than placing ppl into their exact right boxes that keep them seperate from me. basically if u fight the good fight u belong here.
