Last summer I was lucky enough to work on this animated miniseries called Five Fables for Flickerpix, a lovely animation studio in North Ireland. Flickerpix had teamed up with the late poet Seamus Heaney and comedian/actor Billy Connolly to produce five animated fables. Each of the fables have their own unique styles, and I got to work on two of them! One of the episodes I worked on just recently aired on BBC NI, but unfortunately, it's only available to viewers in the UK.
Under the direction of the super talented directors Joel Simon and Dean Burke, I developed the style and characters, storyboarded, and painted backgrounds for this episode titled The Fox, the Wolf, and the Carter.
