When you're late and mom gives you a ride to snail school (snool??) While you eat your snail breakfast (sbreakfast?????)
A mostly rainy day couldnt stop me from taking a couple of pics of these lovely inhabitants of the forest.. forgive the quality since im not a professional, i just want to share the love! :)
Can you spot all the "papillifera papillaris" snails on this mossy wall? :^)
Since i was making a big piece of pumpkin for the human part of the family, i decided to treat the snails as well and gave them a piece. Now, Indiana Snail does not care in the slightest, but the giant baby.. :') spent the last 30 minutes observing this tiny(not that tiny) baby eating away at a piece big 5 times their size, never stopping. Tomorrow we'll see the results, but its safe to assume pumpkin is MUCH more appreciated than a "mere"piece of fruit.
Such a pretty snail!
When snails are still young their colors arent defined yet.. you can see splashes of color pigments all around the shell, like a printer running out of ink! But you get very nice patterns all the same
