Despite his boasting and grand dreams of revenge, I do picture that when those grand doors open and they walk those steps into the Rite of Profane Ascension, Astarion is still deeply and horribly afraid.

I really wanted to do something that represented how I personally feel fear. That visceral punch to the chest that makes your heart stutter and your breath catch and the one sound that effectively did that for me in the last few years is the theme for The Prowler from Into the Spiderverse.

Just a little guide for intimacy 😚

I had this silly idea of doodling out some of Phe and Astarion's preferred methods of non sexual intimacy a good while ago and the need for fluff has been dire this last week!

A little lore drop, but not long after these two dingdongs properly confess to one another, they come to a decision that they shouldn't have sex for a while.

Sex as a whole is a very convoluted and tough subject for them due to their pasts and even though they both came to enjoy their nightly activities (hah), they also finally understood that in order to make something real, they needed to be with one another without the need for it. So they begin to explore and see what they liked over the course of their big tadpole adventure. It was awkward at times, maybe even a little embarrassing, but they figured it out.

It's been hard lately. I generally don't swim in the angst pool often because I'm so susceptible to drowning, but I had this idea for a while and channeling my pain into it was a little helpful.

I have this headcanon that because technically the threat of the Dead Three is taken care of, Withers can no longer willy nilly just revive the group. This death? It's final. They knew that going in.

But maybe. . maybe Astarion can believe in the gods one more time, if it meant getting her back.

I've had this interaction between them in my head forever and I finally, FINALLY got it out haha.

Lore drop!

For Ophelia's story, she has Shadowheart and Gale in her party first before Astarion. She's already reluctant to trust these strangers but considering these circumstances she doesn't have a choice, especially considering the tadpole. So when they stumble across Astarion, she is immediately wary. She opens her mouth to tell them to hold back but instead, GALE is the one to approach, saying the more the merrier. Plus oh so chivalrous he is, just returning the helping hand he just received. Pay it forward as it were.

So when Astarion pulls his little stunt with Gale, Ophelia is on the move and *quickly*. A knife for a knife. She doesn't save Gale because she's fond of him, she doesn't know him, but people with magic and power can help her survive this situation and you do NOT interfere with her survival.

Astarion wasn't expecting it, but he can recognize a kindred spirit in those eyes.

That desperation for freedom, the willingness to spill blood for it . .

He found his mark. 😈

Anyway!! More testing on lineart and such, having lots of fun making these little reels.

There's plenty of horny times in BG3 that had me giggling and kicking my feet but the ONE moment I genuinely felt a stirring in my loins was when you talk to Halsin after your night with him, as a druid you get the "nature has been inside me" line and his response. . his breathless response. OOF.

Halsin: "We were as one. The warmth of your skin, the feel of your. . ."

Me:

EXCUSE ME??? HELLO??? FATHER??
