I have 2 dogs, one is a yorkshire terrier and he's so old and senile and ridiculously obsessed with my mother. like when she leaves he literally hides in a closet and won't come out until she comes home. and then the smartest german shepard you'll ever meet and she's a precious baby. Also I have an obese cat who is basically me in cat form.
