Hey you guys putting this out here I'm currently gonna be on a hiatus going through some serious mental health crisis. I also don't know the current lore of crk and don't really care to know considering I think I've grown tired of it. It's no longer my hyperfixation at this moment. I'm much more interested in other stuff like gachiakuta or jujutsu kaisen. Im not too sure when I'll be back or recover so don't wait up for me. In the meantime if I were to come back to writing short fics it'll probably be in my multi fandom blog posted on my pinned.

I put my fics through grammarly and I use spell checker.

I don't know if you're the same person bothering my ask to be funny but please stop. Grammarly has been around since 2009, way longer before generative a.i. I use it primarily for spell check and punctuation eras, it also fixes my sentences for me to be corrected. I recently dug into grammarly, and while it does use an artificial intelligence to help with writing. It is not generative a.i. and as far as I'm aware only GrammarlyGO uses it. Which I'm sure I do not use unless I'm unaware of something within the site. Anyways this a.i. conversation discussion is over. My ask are only for cookie run character related stuff and if you have an issue, you're welcome to message me personally through my inbox.

I think many people forget I'm only one person writing content here, majority of my content is one shot smuts. Not multi chapter long ficlets. I have currently over 100 ask in my ask box, please be mindful as I'll probably make mistakes in things 😑I am a nursing student after all (yes your girl is going to be a nurse lol)

I dont mean to come off accusatory or mean :( but, do you use ai for your writing?

I've noticed several clues that point to ai: constant em dashes, lists of three, random line breaks every single sentence, sentences that are one word in an attempt to build tension, unnecessary italics, confusing moments when one character is at point A but in the next theyre at point B...

If you do use ai, can you please clarify it somewhere? Im sure a lot of people would appreciate the clarity so they can choose whether or not to browse your blog,, thank you!!

Oh no I did want to put this out there just to clarify to my readers (writing this from phone so sorry for any mistakes) but I do NOT use a.i for my fics. I put my fics through grammarly and I use spell checker. The repeated em (—) dashes are intentionally as they are genuinely used in various writings and books. They also look cooler than just simple commas (,)

I've been writing fanfiction since I was 9 years old, I'm 20 now so of course over time ive improved. I've gotten plenty of rewards at my school for writing competitions and just in general proficient at reading and writing. So I'm very sorry for anyone where it comes off as A.I especially in recent times :(. I also use inspiration (sometimes heavy) from other fanfictions as well to help with prompts, so some things may end up being very similiar.

when it comes to the tension claim, as an author. I really do love good tension. Like, severely. And many of my favorite fanfictions use things like

Can come off really cool in a way to build tension I just think it's really neat idk. I also overuse passive voice writing compared to active voice writing.

Also italics are a bit confusion to me cuz I don't know if there's any *incorrect* way to use italics besides emphasizing something or give things more...idk tension? Any inconsistencies with characters may just simply be my mistakes, as I write over the course of days and not all at one time. I may not remember or think of a scene from a couple days ago to the time in the present moment. I unfortunately get fixated on so many words too!!! It's annoying. Like I'll think of a good perfect word that fits in somewhere and all of a sudden I can't stop using it. It makes my work feel and sound repetitive. It ends just becoming a stupid filler word instead and It loses it touch 🫩 though that may just be my ADHD or my mind diminishing idk

Basically what I'm saying is. If anything comes off as A.I. PLEASE it's not. Grammarly and Google docs does majority of the work for me anyways. And I've been using it since 2020 so I'm sure it's credible hopefully.

Anyways I think I will change my writing style though so this discussion won't come up again! I've been looking into more dynamic (?) styles of writing to hopefully give more of a signature (and hopefully less a.i) writing style to this account
