@fixatiixn said: "I just followed my nose, that's all," Sal replied, looking around briefly before his gaze lifted up to settle on Shanks once again, but a bit of a grin was beginning to curl onto his features. "All the other places were packed for some strange reason and yet around here, it's just you all..." // Here ya go. uwu
// unprompted -- always accepting.
“You must have quite the nose then,” he muses, though the words come out sounding rather unimpressed, eyes drifting away from the young man in front of him, to his crew. They had quieted down, just a notch, from their usual roar in order to survey the newcomer that had approached him. A change that would hardly be noticable
Benn catches his eye, his first mate hardly having looked up from his own drink, but even from across the bar Shanks sees the gears behind his eyes turning, no doubt placing a name with the face of the younger man. Shanks raises his eyebrows with a soft hum, a smile all his own draws at the corner of his mouth. "Strange," he repeats. "You are the only one who’s come in and hasn’t gone right back out that door.”
With a small shake of his head, Shanks reaches for the drink on the counter and takes a sip. It was a shame, really, that the locals here seemed so easily spooked by the presence of a yonko and his crew.
“Now, does this stop have a purpose beyond finding a spot to drink?”
