Flora recently moved to Aurora Bay, California after spending her entire life in Nebraska. That place really wasn't her taste and it had always been a dream of her's to live in a beach town, since she always claims that the ocean is her soulmate.
Growing up in cold, boring Nebraska, Flora didn't have the best childhood. The reason being her parents weren't the most caring people around, even towards their own daughter. The girl never really knew what love felt like, even to this day. But of course, like any good child, she put up with it with little to no complaining. As complaining never really gets you anywhere.
Always being at the top of her class, Flora graduated high school as the Valedictorian. Though, she never really saw that as an accomplishment, the class was very small. But it did come with many good perks - she got a few scholarships that helped pay her way through community college since her parents claimed they would be no help with that. Flora graduated with a two year degree but decided to stop her education there, needing a full time job so she could save up to move out of her parents house.
Working two jobs was one of the hardest things Flora had ever endured. Her day serving job consisted of many doubles, working from open to close. Then when she clocked out of that job, she clocked in at the near by diner, working a full night shift. Luckily she was able to get a day or two off a week, which she spent almost the entire day sleeping. After two years of saving up, Flora was finally able to move to California.
With her new life in Aurora Bay, she excited to spend most of her days at the beach. Learning to surf and even expanding her knowledge of the sea life there. And of course, keep the beaches clean.
