Dorcas awoke to find her face hurting. She’d passed out at one of the few tables in the hall, the warmth and cocoa having lulled her into dreams. Apparently, her face had stuck to the wood, as she could feel a sting in her cheek from lifting her head. There was some drool down her cheek, and she wiped it away, glancing about.

Unfortunately, there was someone sitting a little ways down who had their eyes on her. She offered an embarrassed smile, wiping at her mouth a bit more. “Hey.” She reached for her cocoa, to find it cold, and sighed. She leaned over a little toward the other person down the row. “Uh, do you know what time it is?”
