The Descent was my first fixed gear video I made. I had previously filmed a lot of rides prior to this video but none of them ever made it into a video. It wasn't until riding after that day that it dawned on me -- why was I filming all of these rides and not making any videos out of them? Furthermore, a friend on the ride saw that I had a GoPro and thought it was really cool. He asked me when he could expect a video of today's ride. From then on, I decided to start editing my rides and making videos out of them.

The Descent took only a few hours to edit as I had no clue of what I was doing, so I did not put a lot of effort into learning how to do new things. The video only has a view of the riders from behind. I wish at this time I knew more about what I was doing and could have ridden ahead of the group to get some other angles in but oh well.
