This is one of those seemingly-throwaway lines in 1000xRESIST that drive me insane the more I think about it. Because this isn't really true. Because Fixer has never been on a Fixer's schedule until this point in the game, and yelling at Blue to work faster is small potatoes compared to the things she let lapse, delayed, or ended up being too late to fix. Too late to come clean to Watcher about leaving for the Other Side, or to return to the Orchard. Too late to start their part of the planned coup, to stop the outsiders' discontent boiling over. Too late to save Watcher's eyes, too late to make amends, too late to say goodbye. The bitterness in the stomach, when will it go away 😭
