having emotions about 1kxr again. the narrative that centres & explores abuse and generational trauma and diaspora, but also tells you over and over that the only way forward is truth & genuine understanding. its iris instigating the communions that showcased all her flaws, its secretary becoming an ally to humans after living among them, its the moment of mother-daughter connection on the staircase, its the way knower and principal warp and omit the facts to everyones detriment, its the flattening of jiao into a single picture and the resurrection of her full personality in her clones, its the treatment of 'ancient humans' like an alien monolithic species, its the protagonist being the spiritual successor to both a prominent information-sharer (bartender) and a desperate information-seeker (watcher). its "you have no idea what ive protected you from" over and over as an excuse and expression of love and a begging of the fucking question.

1000xresist is like. what if the tragedy played out over and over again and it wasn't anyone's fault and it was everyone's fault and you cannot blame the circumstance and it was out of your hands. you are the perpetrator and the victim and the bystander and you cannot forget and you cannot remember and you must keep moving and you must not go too far. you have to live with what you are and that cannot be changed. you can always change. crazy

1kxr is making me feral. what if we fell in love years ago but never talked about it? what if i had to leave and you were the last to know because it hurt too much? what if someone used my likeness to manipulate you into murder? what if we were both already doomed under the weight of generational trauma? what if they cut out your eyes and i tried to give you one of mine and you WOULDNT FUCKING TAKE IT? what if you died and i refused to even say goodbye? what if i disappeared under mysterious circumstances? what if we both made the world slightly better? what if our ghosts ran to see each other? what if "you and me are gonna be trouble"? and we were both girls.
