My First Sims 4 Forums Build Challenge!
I call this renovation: Wisdom of the Heart. It is for the challenge linked here.
Backstory: Whenever I create a small “starter-ish” build or renovation that is above starter price, I come up with a backstory for the sim I intend to play in the house. In this case, Sophia de la Corazon is one of many children of a very large and very wealthy family. When it came time to decide on inherited properties, Sophia made a request for a nearly forgotten farmhouse... almost a barn, really, on a remote plot in the quaint town of Newcrest. She also requested a small stipend to renovate the property to suit her needs.
Sophia has always been a loner, preferring to wander the woods for inspiration for her artistic and musical pursuits. She is in touch with nature and prefers the company of plants, paint and musical instruments to that of other humans. She renovated her tiny farmhouse to suit her desire for a space to learn, create and be.
Thank you to steskens from the Sims 4 Creative Corner Forums for creating this challenge. I had a lot of fun renovating your build and drew a lot of inspiration from the overgrown ivy and the items (treasures) you places within (I kept a few of them intact). I used reclaimed wood build mode items in an attempt to keep to the spirit of the abandoned farmhouse theme.
