They flag nearly everything now. I uploaded a video of my dog and it was too sexual. It's an algorithm gone haywire.
I can’t even figure out what algorithm would screen these videos like this. It’s frustrating honestly because it’s flagging my videos that are the most popular.
In a lot of the anti-feminist circles I've seen a lot of people assume that PoC only refers to black people, and especially anti-feminist black people have told me they're upset at how similar it sounds to the old-school racist terminology. So in those circles, it either seems too euphemistic ("just call them 'black'") or a regression in terms.
Hmmm interesting. I’m gonna assume that the majority of the anti-fems (because I have seen this argument too) who don’t like the term PoC are white and don’t care to listen to the voices of PoC who use the term. But, it’s interesting that black anti-feminists dislike the term as well. I definitely can see how it might sound similar to when the word “colored” was widely used in a derogatory way. But I think it’s important to remind them that many non-black (and black!) PoC identify with the term in a positive way. I’m sure over time the terminology will change though and we’ll find a better term or PoC will fall out of favor/common usage.
Don't be mad at yourself for trying. If I've learned anything from this, it was a greater perspective on who we actually need to communicate with. Activists are out there trying to reach legislators, governments, CEO's, etc. to make real change, and antifeminists seem to just be inserting themselves in. Like they don't seem to realize that seventeen-year-old Jimmy from Give-a-Fuck Lane is pretty inconsequential to the overall goal.

I noticed that reading the Canterbury Tales. It also makes me wonder if “shit” is considered such a bad word just because it’s the oldest word still in use for “excrement”? It seems like every time a new euphemism comes into use it becomes basically the word itself, and “shit” may just be the reigning champion, you know?
I’ve read that like if you were at a fancy party with George Washington in 1792 and needed to excuse yourself you could say “I need to go out to the shithouse”, and no one would bat an eye, so it seems like it’s only become a “bad” word sometime in the last 200 years.
