It was very well known that Dabi wasn’t at all a morning person. No, if he could, then he would sleep in and only wake after the birds had been signing their hearts’ out for awhile, that was just how he was and it hadn’t changed in years. Sometimes, Twice had even dragged him out of bed due to not waking up when he was supposed to, and Dabi might have burned a couple of covers due to the irritation that stirred within him at being awoken earlier than he desired.
A soft groan left the male as the sun, from the nearby window, graced his face, making Dabi roll onto his stomach, hiding his pale features away in the pillow beneath him, uncaring that this meant that it was most likely due time for him to get up. No one could blame him for still being tired. It was difficult for him to catch some well deserved rest, most nights, as his thoughts and memories of the past kept him awake.
Hearing the familiar sound of footsteps coming closer, the still very much half asleep male let out an annoyed growl to indicate that he wasn’t ready to get up yet. However, seemingly that reached deaf ears as soon after, a familiar weight landed on top of him, resulting Dabi’s pearly whites to part in a hiss.
“ Naruto one of these days I am going to strangle----- “ left the scarred lips before the villain halted at the words, that he hadn’t expected, to left the fox. Words that made the annoyance that had bloomed within his chest instantly seep right out of him as Dabi tilted his head to see the very pleased blond resting on top of him.
“ hmph.. “ a soft airy chuckle left in a short breath before lips uttered, “ idiot.. “ with no bite at all as Dabi let his head return to the pillow once more with the smallest hint of a smirk.
