My VERY BASIC ANSWER IS "yeah, sure, that works, Seulrene is cool" because technically speaking, I DO think they're compatible. But they're not the most compelling ship to me, especially in this particular AU!
I think Seulgi (as Pack Leader) would be more interesting with someone like Sole Survivor Yeri (long-term) or even Jihyo (short-term), where Irene would be more interesting with one of the Brotherhood or Minutemen guys! I think they'd make for more layered dynamics!
