i have so many valentines that deserve to be sent. but thank you to all my writing partners (and friends!) for not giving up on me. for not dropping me after i got sucked into a toxic ship that caused me to have an emotional breakdown. for not writing me off when i ghosted due to mental health issues. for not making me feel ashamed for coming back after some time has passed. i wish i could be more present and that i had the mental space to write with you every day, but you've never made me feel bad about the fact that i can't do that or made me feel left out because of it. you guys have always held space for me and i appreciate that. i love you and consider you some of my dearest friends, even when i seem distant sometimes. thank you for accepting me for the way i am and giving my muse somewhere to go. i'm really grateful for you!

while folks are doing valentines, i'd like to send in some reminders. please be kind to others. you never know what someone else is going through. it may or may not excuse their behavior, but it will at least provide situational context. also, forgiveness is a choice, not a must. please be kind to yourself. it's okay to cut people off when they show repeated negative behaviors, even if you're attached to a plot or ship. there were other plots before this, and there will be plots after this. don't limit yourself. please remember that while no one is owed anything, communication can go a long way. you don't have to be best friends with someone ooc to respect their time and energy put into rp. you don't have to have long conversations. you don't have to message daily or weekly. a brief check in from time to time to reassure people you're still interested in a plot, ship, or ooc friendship with them can do wonders for the troubled mind. stay well, everyone. please be a little kinder this year.

my (failed) valentine crush is someone i had been talking to but i always got ghosted by them. like come on 😫 do i have to meet you like ONCE a year? my muses have been very broken hearted twice by your muses but somehow we always cross paths and fall for each other. i would say as a mun, i enjoy the boundaries we share and the way we would talk for the most random topics ever. plus i love your writing style as well. if you see this, your muses are the babo silly person my muses always miss.
