Ok stay with me bc this is a little convoluted. So, this is my sequel to Swept Away which takes place in the same small town with cameos from characters from the first book, focused on the romance between Hayley, an aspiring bakery owner, and Lucy, the fire captain of the station where Hayley’s ex-husband works. It’s inspired by the fake ship of a fake show I invented for this outside POV of a buddie get-together LMAO. That’s the convoluted part.

Anyway, right now it’s about comphet and relearning desire and how to accept help from people. I’m still playing with the characters, rotating them in my head until I find the plot, so there’s not much written yet. I am very excited to write clueless Hayley who is so obsessed with being friends with Lucy and very pouty about the fact Lucy isn’t interested. Which could mean nothing. I think my new brand is writing hopelessly down bad main characters lol.

PS If anyone wants to name some of the firefighters that work for Lucy, they should definitely do that because I am STRUGGLING with names as always.
