Though it may seem as though Rappa is living on another layer of reality, it doesn't mean she's blind to all the people she sees come in and out of the bakery today; full of those buying last minute gifts for their loved ones. "These were not made by my own hand, but I hope the sentiment still carries through to your heart." Inside of the palm-sized purple box is a collection of both white and milk chocolates in the form of lotus flowers. Special delivery, straight from the Ninja Capital-!

Valentine’s Day indeed proved to be a large amount of patrons visiting his family’s bakery, buying an abundance of chocolates and treats for their loved ones. Business was booming as he and his fellow bakers clearly had their hands full.

“Oh, good day, miss Dazzling Ninja!” The baker smiled, giving her a small wave of his hand. His smile grew wider when she gifted him a small box of white and milk lotus-shaped chocolates. Even they weren’t made by her hand, the very sentiment mainly counted for him, which it was always appreciative. “Ah, thank you kindly! Please how can I help you? For today’s Valentine, we have homemade chocolates and pralines, special pastries and cakes.”

And for his fellow ninja, he absolutely didn’t mind to treat her.

"Happy valentine's day Murelle!" Mei Fan greets the witch with a bright smile, having obviously been awaiting her return back to the guild for this specific gift giving occasion "I've been told its traditional for even friends to give gifts on this day- so I thought I would offer you something the Qixi festival of my culture!" -it's not an exact equivalent, of course. But close enough of any excuse for her to hand out a small bag of homemade Qiao Guo - or "silk fruit". These particular pastries have been made in the (rough) shape of snowflakes !

"O-oh, thank you kindly, Mei Fan! A happy valentine's day to you as well!" The lightning witch sincerely smiled in return, truly happy to accept the other's traditional treats. She was actually excited trying to sample them, never she had these kind of pastries before.

"They even have shapes like a snowflake! I have some chocolate truffles to share as well, they're not homemade though, but the local bakery makes wonderful chocolates. Please have some."

Tomoko leans on her bike, arms crossed as she looked over at the other. She can relate, there'd been plenty of nights where she stayed up late and just walked around, not really having anywhere in mind, just not wanting to be at home.

"It'd be pretty stupid t'call th'cops on a kid fer jus' walkin' around."

She raises an eyebrow at the other's name. Definitely an odd thing to name a girl, but hey, she won't rain on anyone's parade. The responsible thing to do would be to call the cops and tell them that a kid is by themselves on the street, but she knows they don't like seeing her face or getting a call from her. That, and she doesn't really like the cops, even if some of them are in Kazuma's pocket.

"Nobu, I can tell y'right now, I don't want 'ny kids snottin' 'round my place."

Way too many of them were comfortable with walking up to a member of a crime family and casually talking about their day. Then again, she doesn't exactly seem bothered by it, but perhaps it's because she's been the person who needed someone to help her when she was struggling. She acts gruff about it, but most of the younger generation referred to her as big sis, at least around these parts.

"So, y'hungry or anythin'? Pretty sure there's a couple of spots open late at night."

"Oh, Murelle! I've heard gift giving is a popular tradition this time of year, so I thought it would be the ideal time to give you this!" Mei Fan happily provides her friend with a flat box, wrapped with green paper and a red bow - in the way she'd seen many others wrap their own presents. Within this box lies a intricate Chinese knot charm, fastened with traditional red string and a piece of jade running through the center. "These are symbols of good luck and prosperity from my culture! They're meant to bring good fortune and ward off evil spirits." She begins to explain, bearing a hint of pride mixed in with her excitement "I personally tied these knots myself, so I can guarantee their effectiveness!"

The time of Christmas did prove to be busy and hectic at times, even outside her work and duties, especially for Murelle, she still needed to follow her own schedules to spend her time well and more properly. That included buying and preparing presents for her friends.

And it seemed Mei Fan was following the tradition as well.

"O-oh, you shouldn't have. Thank you so much, Mei Fan, I will definitely cherish it." The witch beamed when opening her new present, revealing an authentic knot charm. A sincere gesture with its origins, it may be something small but something she truly appreciated. "And to follow the tradition, it's only right that I give you a present in return. I hope you'd like it."

When Mei Fan opened her present, it contained a leather-covered notebook.

And on this Christmas day, she's harnessed that power to call back to the childhood toy she shared with her other siblings: The Adzuki Beanbags

When they would open it, it would reveal not one; but THREE ornate little cloth balls. They could swear they've seen toys like these before. Maybe shoved away in the back of the toy stores or proudly displayed in the shapes of anime characters they've never even heard of. But those toys were cheaply made. Something as frivolous as that would have usually NEVER crossed their mind. But seeing these little bean bags was SPECIAL.

⊱ ★ ⊰ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤGingerly do they pick one of the bean bags up; holding it in their palm as if weighing it. Somehow, it felt JUST RIGHT. Even if they didn't know entirely how to use the little bean bags just yet, the were going to keep them FOREVER.
