ienzo wants to point out that he’s a scientist too, thank you very much, but that is quite a few words—words that may prompt more questions or teasing in ienzo’s experience. so, instead, he simply nods slowly, rather puzzled by the teenager. he’s used to eccentric personalities, but lea with his bright red hair and strange introduction are a new one.
( ienzo’s not sure, but he thinks he may have seen him somewhere, or heard something about him in passing—from dilan and aeleus, perhaps, since they’re constantly grumbling about teens causing unnecessary trouble. )
talking to new people is both easier and more difficult. it takes ienzo a moment, but eventually he responds with a: “...i’m ienzo. it’s nice to meet you.” ( because if even’s managed to teach him anything, it’s the importance of manners. )
