24. Slow Dancing

Her youngest member needed a chaperon for his school dance. So she invited Johnny along. She wore a black floor length dress that was similar to her favorite tv show character. Morticia Addams. Johnny was wearing a cute suit. Almost matched her outfit.

They both arrived with Dove,the youngest D-lister,and had a blast. The music was nice,the kids were kinda behaved. And she was finally enjoying herself. When a slow dance came on,she asked,“Wanna dance?”

“Sure. Sounds like fun.”,he said. They made their way to the dance floor. Johnny held her hand and settled the other on her hip. She gently gripped his shoulder as they danced with the students. It was nice,the place was beautiful…even if it was just a highschool thing. And she said,“I’m glad you came. It would’ve been awkward dancing with some random teacher.”

“I bet,none of these teachers seem able to dance well.”,he said. A few people over,someone yelped in pain. A gym teacher stepping on the librarian’s toes by accident. They laughed a little as they continued on with the dance. When the song was over,she took him back to their table as she said,“Thank you,Johnny.”

“You’re welcome,Kimi.”
