agate: how my muse calms down

Clary inhales and exhales deeply and closes her eyes. She hides her storm within herself by keeping a steady heart rate. But everyone knows she would rather just get right to her problems and try to solve them instead to stay calm or make herself calm.

apache tears: a sadness headcanon

She rarely cried over her father’s passing (the fake father she never met). She just couldn’t purely identify with him even though she should. Clary always hoped to get to know him through memories or photos of him, but there were none, so she just felt a hole in her heart. 

apophyllite:my muse's religious/spiritual beliefs

Clary wasn’t religious until the day she met Jace and saw something special in him ---- his eyes, his looks, the way he talked. She had to believe from this point onward.

aquamarine:where my muse feels most calm/relaxed

She feels the most relaxed if she’s alone with Simon, most preferable in her favourite coffeeshop (and even better if they’re the only customers). And they would be talking about the world and drink some good coffee. 

chalcedony:the saddest my muse has ever been

The moment she finds out her mother is gone -- the moment her world falls apart and her entire life turns out to be a complete lie.

emerald:how my muse tells someone they love them without words

By showing extreme self-sacrifice and recklessness in order to protect those she loves. (for example running into Hotel Dumort to save Simon)

jasper:what my muse would be like as a parent

Clary would be completely outgoing and honest, because she wouldn’t want them to grow up based on lies just like she did. A good mix of mundane culture and shadowhunter training/lore is something she will value a lot and if there’s a fight between her children she will be the first to say they should settle it with a pillow fight.
