Unpopular opinion. I knew it'd end like this, but I'm disappointed over Becky never showing interest in the status of her birth parents. "The Ordinary, Extraordinary Botsfords" is a nice episode, but potential feels wasted as we learn nothing of her Lexiconian heritage. I love the Botsfords and I support adoption, but to me, I believe Becky's lack of desire to find her birth parents is a way to preserve her sense of superiority on Earth and within her human family unit.

There’s so much this show could have explored but didn’t, and I understand that frustration really well. I’ve felt that with many other shows besides WG.
I guess exploring Becky’s Lexiconian heritage was just... out of the purview of what the show was willing to get into. I don’t know why Becky had so little interest in her birth parents. I didn’t get the sense that maintaining superiority on Earth was her reasoning, but that’s a fair interpretation.
The good thing about it is that fans can write her exploring Lexicon when she’s older however they want in fanfics. I haven’t seen any that really get into this, but if anyone has recommendations you can drop them below.
The Botsfords are great parents, for the most part, but for someone who’s naturally inclined towards the pursuit of knowledge like Becky, there’s really no reason she wouldn’t want to learn more about her parents. Unless the implication here is that her parents’ planet blew up, like in the original Christopher Reeve Superman films, but the show doesn’t want to get into that, because it’s too sad for this kids’ show.
