“We all need a good friend to be there for us that helps remind us of the things we like about our lives.” Clemont agreed, letting out a soft hum of acknowledgement. “I think I only have a few friends but...I’d like to make more friends and be able to communicate better.” He pointed out, tilting his head a bit to cast a glance at the other. “Speaking of, I don’t think we’ve ever met. I’m Clemont.” He stretched a hand out for the other to shake if they’d like to.

All of that work done? All of it? For the idea that they couldn't bring about a beautiful world? No. No. Never, never. Flare was a flame that would never quite be extinguished, not if Xerosic had anything to say about it. The weapon might have failed, but that was hardly a stopping point. There was no possible way that they could simply give up.

Too much time, too much dedication, too much life spent as a sacrifice to get to this goal, there was no going back. The world would crumble or it would be reborn.
