Snakes! I really love how cute and pretty they are! They have different scale patterns called morphs it's pretty similar to dog breeds, so there are some morphs that are "bad" to breed for too! For example, the Ball Python's Spider Morph! It causes wobbling in their heads when they get older :(

6. does your self insert have any pets

Yes! So I have my pet snake Tamago, and I just recently got a siamese cat named Crusty! I think in my most mundane "slice of life" self-insert, they'd be normal pets but in a fantasy setting I don't usually have them! Though that might change now teehee

I was literally thinking about how I'd find Crusty and I think it's be SOOO funny if it was like a MLP:FiM Philomena, where's this crusty, sickly looking cat but then ERUPTS INTO FIRE and becomes a beautiful new kitty again, just like a phoenix. Entire introduction "episode" is just that MLP episode. I find her, try to nurse her back to health, only for her to "die" and then be reborn anew and majestic again.
