Flare Code presents: Art Codes
check it out on our youtube channel and all the full interviews HERE
From Tweets and Facebook status updates to YouTube videos and RSS feeds, along with a myriad of other technological advancements that our society generates on a constant basis, the company, Flare Code, has found a way to combine all of these elements in one place through a revolutionary art show.
Tonight at GG's Bubble Tea and Lounge in Athens, Flare Code, an Ohio University student-owned enterprise, is hosting a unique type of art show. It melds local creativity and cutting-edge technology to reveal their new beta-launch program, employing their namesake, digital Flare Codes. The show runs from 7-10 p.m.
"We (Flare Code) have never done an event like this before," said co-founder Niklos Salontay. "But we think it's the best way to show the students of OU and residents of Athens what our company is and has become in a creative culture."

Confessions of a Flare Code Intern
When you are offered something, you have two options: take it, or leave it. It’s plain and simple. You can sit back and let it pass you by, wondering what could have been, or you can dive into a vast ocean of unknown. It could flop, or it could be the greatest adventure of your life. Whatever it ends up being, you will always end up learning something.
That’s how I, Kate Slanker, felt the day I got the email from Scripps explaining the internship from Flare Code. I was completely clueless as to what a Flare Code even was (as many of you may be) and, to be honest, I still don’t know all of it’s capabilities. But I thought to myself, “what do I honestly have to lose?”
So here I am, an official “minion” in the world of Flare Code. It has been a wild ride, but I have already learned so much. Not just about Flare, but about the true start up of a business, and what it takes to get something completely launched off the ground. I wanted to share this story with you, not only to give you an inside look of our progress, but to further your knowledge as to what Flare Code is all about. So come along for my adventure, and get an inside look into the world of Flare.
Dream Big,
Slanks
