Ralph..? *he gives a long blink as he brushes himself off, having a confused look on his face* That sounds awfully familiar...
The wrecker sighed, shaking his head a little and suddenly looking tired.
"I'm not surprised. You probably heard of the incident in Sugar Rush?"
*he scoffs and crosses his arms, hissing* Fine, Fine, whatever big hands.
Ralph put him down carefully. Good thing the salamander didn't push his luck, otherwise he'd be freefalling from eight and a half feet off the ground.
"My name's Ralph, thank you very much." he huffed.
My name is not scrappy! Its Flare, dangit! *he suddenly hissed, sticking his tongue out at him like the immature brat he is*
Ralph blinked in surprise a couple times, but he was quick to get over it. After all, he'd met another Pokemon who could talk.
"Fine then, Flare. Now wouldja quit bein' a brat?!"
..! *he gives a small cute roar at the small comment and charges at his leg, trying to chomp down on it.*
"Ah-! Hey!"
He quickly takes a step back, becoming impatient with the lizard. He picks him up by the scruff of its neck, taking care to keep his tail flame at a safe distance.
"Listen, Scrappy! I said I was sorry, alright?! Now wouldja knock it off?!"
Despite what it looked like, he was actually doing a fair job keeping his temper in check. He didn't need to wreck anything yet.
Cha... *he rubs his nose and gives a small growl at him.*
"Hey, I said I was sorry!" Ralph huffed indignantly.
"It's not easy for a big guy like me to see someone so small, y'know!"
*the small fire salamander suddenly bumped into the wreckers leg, giving off a large squeak.*
"Huh?"
Ralph blinked down at the Charmander confusedly.
"Oh, sorry, little guy. Didn't see you there."
*The fire salamander comes up to him and makes grabby hands at his helmet* Char!
Huh? Hey! What are ya doin', ya lil' squirt? Mitts off t'hardware! Where in t'heck didja come from? I don't remember one of them Pokemon games plugged in!
