some work from today and yesterday!
I made some flaschards for one of my students today. I help her study, she can't concentrate by herself.
Study Flashcards: Order, Shuffle or Spaced Repeat
There are three different way to study flashcards in Card Note: study cards by order/shuffle , or use spaced repeat.
What is Spaced repetition:
Spaced repetition is a learning technique that incorporates increasing intervals of time between subsequent review of previously learned material in order to exploit the psychological spacing effect. Alternative names include spaced rehearsal, expanding rehearsal, graduated intervals, repetition spacing, repetition scheduling, spaced retrieval and expanded retrieval.
We should use spaced repetition if we want to remember information for a long time.
View cards by order (sort by note modify date time)
Shuffle cards
Spaced Repeatition
1-I'm not sure, 2-I already know, 3-I don't know
'Spaced Repetition' mode is perfect for storing information in your long-term memory. Most language students will use this mode. The study pace is set by the app, which tells you what needs to be practiced each day and helps push you towards your long-term goal.
Tips: There is no auto play when use spaced repetition in Card Note, because we have to answer the question(one of 1,2,3) , so the app can determine when the card will show next time.
