I read somewhere that clarified who he is better than what I picked up on on my own:

He's grumpy, he doesn't like humans as well as his previous incarnations (esp. compared to Ten, who adored them), and he very much dislikes soldiers. The person pointed out though that the Doctor was once a soldier and through Nine (and later Eleven) we found out how much he hated what he did. But... now he's found out that he didn't ACTUALLY kill off his people. You'd think that'd make him let go of his guilt, but I guess he hasn't? The person I read said they thought it was out-of-character for the Doctor to finally be free of his guilt but then go and hate soldiers all over again. But I think maybe he will just always hate soldiers for what he had to do no matter what.

And okay, if Clara's boyfriend is going to play a bigger role in the future, I hope it pays off well because I am just not liking his storyline. Yes, I miss Eleven/Clara, but I liked Ten and Donna together without any shipping going on, so I know I can like Doctor x Companion without romance involved. Just... so many plotlines dropped! So many go unexplained before new ones pop up! THIS is why I'm getting frustrated with Moffat. His machismo doesn't help anything, but I was SO eager to find out how Eleven and Clara escaped his timeline, but we got zilch. It's been 8 total episodes/specials to explain it and it looks like it's not going to happen. If it is, it'll probably be in the same way Eleven's stuff got explained: all at once, in a jumble, when she leaves.

If nothing else, I just really am upset that Clara's being given the Amy treatment. I want her life to revolve around the kids, not a guy. Maybe it hasn't QUITE happened yet, but if it's not already there, it's on its way unless it takes a huge detour. :\

I do love this show, though. Apparently everybody loved Listen except me. I DID love Into the Dalek, though. That one was GOOD, hot damn!

Sorry I've been dead. Been busy with work and social commitments, which I'm honestly glad I have. Yay, anti-anxiety medication!

I like being happy. It's a nice polar opposite to my first two years of high school.

It's also giving me time to just sort of think about stuff while I'm driving everywhere, and I've decided I am enamored with series 2 and 7.2 of Doctor Who. Like, tackle-glomp enamored. They may not be the strongest in terms of overall quality and storytelling, but they make me so incredibly happy, I don't even care. Does it have to do with shipping a lot of the time? Yep, but that's not the whole reason. It's just that series 8 is gonna come out and what with me not enjoying the Christmas special this year, it really is 7.2 that I like. What the Doctor and Clara had was awesome. What Ten and Rose had was awesome. What the four of them could all do together would be awesome. I just can't with all of them, I can't.

I lose followers at a steady rate now. I'm not sure what people were following me for in the first place, but I guess that 100+ boost I got with my most popular gifset is finally tapering off. Sorry? But oh well. I got my quality followers. That and since Tumblr is so finicky, I'm clinging more to my numbers on DA. I'm at 1.6k followers there and they really do appreciate my contributions to anything. Fanart in any style for the most part is welcomed there whereas on Tumblr you sort of have to have either hella good skills or that Disney-esque style in order to get noticed. I don't have it so my art slips under the radar. Kind of a buzzkill.

And now I need to upgrade my phone plan. I don't have free texting. It's like a quarter per text, outgoing and incoming. Now that I have a phone worth using it with, time for things that won't wind up boosting my phone bill a good $30 a month! (Thanks, Eman! Your phone works great! :D)

And don't tell Kris. I'm having too much fun with it and don't want to feel the wrath of the biggest anti-brony I've ever met. D: But you understand why I like it, right? I haven't played D&D in YEARS and I miss it dearly. It's also helping with my artistic inspiration, which I've been short on over the past few months.

Also, I know I rag on Amy and her disorders, but she's... well, she gets better and worse on a daily basis. I'm not trying to avoid her as much anymore, but I'm feeling like I have to keep acting like I don't want to associate with her lest everyone else think I'm falling into her trap again. I don't know why I'm worrying about what people think. I guess I'm just defensive.

And apparently you're the only one I know IRL I can talk to about this, lol. I know you won't judge me. You're cool like that. :)

40. Did you have a good day yesterday?

Yesterday was awesome! I didn't cramp as much as I thought I would, my foot didn't bother me, I got a ton of artwork done, talked to those nice cosplayers on Facebook some more, watched that Activity stream just keep exploding... it was great. And I had PIE. Mmm, pie...

HAHA yep.

WHY. WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT. WHY. THEY DO NOT KNOW ME. WHERE DO THEY COME FROM? IS IT SERIOUSLY JUST BECAUSE I DRAW PRETTY PICTURES? LIKE VIDEO GAMES? WHY?? I swear, they popped out of nowhere. I think it’s all died down now, but for a while there, think I had like 4 guys crushing on me at once? Last October-ish. Dude, NOBODY’S crushed on me except like when I was 6 years old or something.

Or maybe just the guys I dated. But one’s gay, one didn’t know what he wanted, and the other was a self-absorbed douche.

But maybe it’s because IRL I’ve become a lot less socially awkward. I approach guys trying to make friends because guys IRL are just awesome friends. I guess I might come off as really forward. Argh. The girls I talk with online are awesome, though. I just wish we all lived closer together so we could actually hang out. There’s really no girls worth hanging out with (save for Kris and a couple other people) in San Diego for my taste. That, or they’re like, still in their teens and I passed 30 and I don’t want to be a creeper.

Trying to catch them up asap so they can watch the 50th tomorrow. They just saw The Name of the Doctor. Trying to squeeze in when Rose becomes the Bad Wolf so they know about that. Eman's over there showing them what happens to the Ponds while I convert my video files to something that'll hopefully play on a PS3. Urgh.
