Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are we allowed to post our work for the flash exchange to tumblr/other social media?

I don't know if I am supposed to do a piece of art or a piece of writing. it wasn't specified
You can do either! If you’re doing art, be sure to check out this link for how to post art to the archive when you’re done.
what should we put in the description for requests?
Whatever preferences you have for your gift: general prompts, wants, nopes/squicks, and the like.
For the flash exchange in the offers bit, what's supposed to go in the description bit?
The description in the offers section is for fine-tuning the matches, so put wants/squicks/etc. there.
Hey, I wanna do the flash exchange, but where do I specify that I'm offering art-only, do I put that in the 'description' bit?
That would be helpful, but it’s not required. We’re assuming that all participants are artists, writers, or both, and there’s no difference in the way AO3 treats the requests/offers.
For the flash exchange do we use the full version of the ships (ie character/character) or the short version (ie mashup of both names)?
There was a bit of a rough spot, but the only tags AO3 will accept (in gift exchanges) are “character/character” format ship names in the tag entry.
