Flashframe's Future

Firstly I would like to thank all the filmmakers that have so far submitted their work and conducted Q+A's at our events over the past two months. Furthermore all of the audiences that made time to come down and enjoyed the wide selection of short films which have played at Flashframe. It saddens me to write this but we are suspending the event until further notice. Since the event has been operational we have experienced numerous sound problems and external noise to contend with which has not done the event any favours. 

I would like to thank 93 Feet East for their support and for allowing our event to go ahead in the first place. Joe Atari and the 93 Feet East management team I'm forever grateful that you gave me permission not only for Flashframe but also for a public screening of Juggling. The sad fact is we cannot continue the event as counter-programming loud gigs alongside an intimate, dedicated film event where picture and sound are of the upmost importance It simply does not work. Hopefully we can continue to do the event in the near future but at the time of writing this I am are unsure when this might be or where it might occur.

Flashframe Returns on the 29th August

We hope to see you for our third event. 

93 Feet East and Tim Porter continue to showcase and give filmmakers, artists and other content creators a platform to showcase their work exclusively and directly to the general public. 

For information on our running order please stay locked to the site as it will be released nearer time.
