the instructions give a really bad folding order with tons of unnecessary extra folds, so i recommend making test units to come up with your own folding method. namely, probably just make the decoration/curly bits part completely separately after unfolding the unit or smth.

A lot of people just call this “Dodecahedron by Tomoko Fuse” bc they cba to type out the model name. It’s written in hirigana in the book but google + google translate both like the katakana (カタバミ) better. Anyway it means a specific species of flower (Oxalis corniculata) which is kind of awkward because Natalia Romanenko designed a different thing named Oxalis lol guess there are only so many flowers in the world
