#FlatStonely hit the ice in Seattle this weekend with lots of friends. So fabulous!

Flat Stonely has barely moved since we got back from London. I think he was so exhausted from the awesomeness that was our trip. And there's no denying that he was a little sad not to win the Fargo FANdango contest, so there was a little moping around our house, and trust me, a moping granite stone is pretty miserable.
"Good news Flat Stonely! We're off on another adventure tomorrow!"

Tomorrow, Flat and I will be joining some fellow teammates and pals from Curl San Diego and Hollywood Curling, and heading up to Seattle for a weekend long skills clinic with Bill Tschirhart.
I have been referring to Flat Stonely as a real person for so long, it seems silly to stop now...
Winner will be announced tomorrow...
Well, after close to five weeks of blogging, posting, sharing, liking, and photographing his googly eyes all over the place, the Fargo FANdango contest winner will be announced tomorrow.
As much as I would love to win, I honestly will be happy no matter who wins the trip to Fargo. Actually, that's not entirely true. I would be happier if the winner came from SoCal, but I support anyone who is getting out there and promoting the sport and being a great ambassador. My friend Marie asked me yesterday if I had fun, or if it got annoying taking Flat everywhere with me, and I answered her immediately- it was so much fun! He was a great conversation starter, so he certainly served his purpose. He made for some hilarious photos that cracked me up constantly. This blog made for a fun travel journal, and I had some good interactions with various people over it, like the Canadian Consulate General in LA, and some fellow curlers like Ali and Matt, and Terry at USA Curling. Flat Stonely is a character, and I will remember the trip of a lifetime and his role in it forever.
So, all this to say, thanks for following Flat Stonely and I. We'll let you know if we win, but even if we don't, you can expect to see more from Flat Stonely in the future. He'll be joining leagues with Hollywood Curling this year, and he'll be joining the Bond Girls and I at various bonspiels, and he'll probably make an appearance at the Continental Cup this year too! (Oh, and in the off chance he actually wins this contest, expect to see a lot more googly eyes in the coming months!)

Home again!
#FlatStonely and I are home, and man, does it ever feel good to sleep in my own bed! Even though I managed to pick up a nasty sinus cold in my last days in London, the trip was absolutely INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who followed along!

The Contest is Almost Over!
#FlatStonely and I have been travelling so much these last few days, its been difficult to keep up! In fact, I've got a bit of a storage issue I'm dealing with at the moment- I haven't been able to download photos from my camera for a few days because my laptop hard drive is completely full! I'm solving that situation now, and as soon as I fix it, then its off to the races!
The video contest closes on Friday, and I have some fun stuff up my sleeve. My main problem is that I'm in London, and this city is so magnificent, and I am so tired at the end of the night from sightseeing... The trip is almost over, the contest is almost done, but regardless of what happens, this will not be the end of Flat Stonely!
