Where is the real music?
I just finished watching the “Finale” of American Idol. Is it me or is the show just getting worse and worse? I mean I spend ours every day with a guitar strapped on and scales and songs are being worked out. I watch these “musicians” on there with guitars on not even playing. I want that gig!!! Chords without sounds. Scales hardly at all. Have we taught our youth that this is musicianship? God help us! I remember back in the 60′s watching these super stars get on TV and perform their hits on various Shows. Lip syncing! Then tonight Katy Perry goes onstage and has the nerve to lip sync? Katy!!! You sold out!!! Weezer was a musical guest and they were basically lip syncing their way through as well.
