Room 133 || Gilderoy and Lily
"I've brought a book today." One sentence to start it off, as green eyes scanned over the man before her. She'd been recently directed to sit with him, talk to him. He was alert. He just didn't respond.
"I don't know how you feel about The Hobbit, but it's one of my favorites." Lily pulled up the chair, sitting close to the bedside, before tying up red hair.
"I'm Lily, by the way. I've read your chart, so I know your name. They figured you'd like some company." She nodded, not really expecting a response. He never responded, they said.
"Shall we start?" And with that, she flipped open the page, slowly and carefully reading over the words at first, so as not to trip over them, but eventually, her speech relaxed, and the words flowed.
