With the news of RTD leaving Doctor Who again, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring to be the new showrunner. 'cause you know, why not at this point? My only experience with writing for Doctor Who is this previous post where I shuffled some character dialogue around and still managed to use the phrase "I suppose" three times in the first five lines because I did no further editing whatsoever, but, and this is the key part, I would have marginally less contempt for the audience than RTD and I would be sure to wrap up every plot thread he left hanging in a way that is so unsatisfying it will make my subsequent weak writing all the better by comparison.
