A flea! Yippee! It may be silly to be happy about a flea, but if it’s not on the skin of you or someone you love, what’s stopping you from loving it? Absolutely nothing! At least, I think this is a flea. It’s pretty abstract, though it does jump like one! Also, it looks like it’s made of mustard, but that’s irrelevant.
If there’s anything it REALLY looks like, it’s a Peep! It has the EXACT same face, which, while not actually looking like a chicken OR a flea, is a VERY lovable face. Don’t worry, the Peeps company isn’t paying me to write this! As much as I love them aesthetically, I think these things are kinda gross! Sorry!
Anyway, back to Fleeper! Unfortunately, I really can’t find any other Fleeper images online, which is a shame. I think Fleeper deserves attention. Did you know there’s a little Easter egg in the Island Museum with Fleepers, too? Similar to how you can brutally force feed Gobblins to death, it’s possible to get all the Fleepers in the exhibit to jump right out of the enclosure! I hope they’re native to this area, or Yoshi has caused an invasive species epidemic!
See? There are plenty of real-world crimes that Yoshi actually HAS committed that we can joke about instead!
